Stinky Springs

After the long haul, we finally made it to the Ramey Ranch, aka Stinky Springs. The Welcoming committee raced out to greet us. Calum loved it, Ailee was a little concerned at first I think. Haha

Since we made that detour in Utah, Kevin was only able to stay up at the cabin for about 24 hours before having to drive back down to Boise and catch his flight back to Denver. We were sad he couldn't play with us longer, but are so grateful for such a hard working daddy.
We made the most of our day with him. We played pretty hard, riding dirt bikes, swimming, playing in the river and digging in the mud.

He just kept getting filthier and filthier. Such a boy.

The rest of the week was spent... sewing, playing games, eating, doing crossfit, badminton,

watching our nephews trying to take down Cody haha,

Slip and Sliding into the river!

(I bruised my tailbone so bad it still hurts)

Campfires,

Getting hurt,
Lots of scraped knees and what not. That's what you get when you play hard. Luckily no serious injuries.

Riding dirt bikes (I could tell Calum had gone with Kevin before, cause he wanted me to go down the "Secret paths" and ride in the sand, which is not my forte. Haha but he loved it, and so did all the cousins)

Doing hair,

Cleaning out the kiddie pool. (It's called Stinky Springs because the pool is from a hot springs and so it smells like sulfur. The water cycles through but moss will still build up in it so we have to scrub it out from time to time.) Ailee was glad we cleaned it so she could swim in it :)

Getting swim lessons from Mamma.
Hearing my mom tell Calum, "kiiiick kick kick kick kick." Really brought me back. Hahaha. He was a little reluctant to get in the water most of the time we were up there, but he loved being in with Mamma and spent a good chunk of the afternoon in there with her.

Crafting
My mom had all sorts of activities and toys for the kiddos. They had a blast running around with their Dollar Store prizes :)

Calum managed to paint his entire raccoon blue as well as a good part of himself too. Haha.

The best part by far was just getting to spend time with all our family. We miss them so much and it was so fun to have most of us under one roof. Bryce's family wasn't able to come up from Phoenix, Jared ended up having to stay and work in Boise, luckily his family was still able to come party, and Kevin and my brother in law Cody had to leave the party early. Hopefully next year we'll be able to all go up and stay for the whole time.

Calum was pretty much in heaven the entire week. Me and him shared a bed so I was glad I got to snuggle him every night. Other than that, I rarely saw him. He was constantly playing. So much fun.  Good old Stinky Springs. Gotta love it.
