Cirque de Bebe

My lovely friend Nicole threw me and two of my pregnant friends a shower this last week. It was a rocking good time. Us three are ready for these babies :)

The majority of my friends are pregnant right now so of course we had to all take some pictures. Haha. We're in order of our due dates :)

Calum's been a little sick this last week, and his sleeping schedule has been all over the place so he has been a little grumpy but still cute as always. He woke up from his nap the other day and said, "Mom, can I have some blackberries," then laid down on the floor and closed his eyes. Haha. Apparently he wasn't quite ready to be up!

Silly kid, insisted on wearing a headband the other day cause I was. He would say "I'm exercising." He was pouting when I tried to take a picture of him though. Haha. The other picture, when I wasn't looking he put painters tape on his chin and started chanting "chinny, chinny, chin." I saw what he was doing and busted up. Hence the blurry photo.

Kevin had quite the man filled weekend. He went golfing and dirt biking. I think he's trying to get in all his outings before baby comes :) Calum of course wanted to be just like dad.

My book worm is back! He spends a lot of time in his room looking at his books. It's so cute!

Calum has to be involved with everything, whether it's cleaning or cooking. He always wants to see whats going on and help out. Sometime his help means extra work for me and Kev, but it's totally worth it.

Calum is always cracking us up. He walked into the gym at church the other day, stopped, through his arms out and exclaimed "This is amazing!!" Haha. He also loves looking for bugs, "Look mom, a big ant." Then he proceeds to stomp on it. Such a boy. Check out his latest tricks... video1, video2, video3

Staying Busy

Trying to stay busy and get all our outings in before baby comes. I'm getting pretty large and in charge, if you can't tell by my sweet body outline we did at Young Womens :)

Kite Flying

Splash Pad

"Chair Time" at our buddy Thomas' birthday party. These kids were being so cute carrying these chairs around and being awesome.

Checking out the farmers market in Golden

Spur of the moment trip to Tiny Town! Calum had fun running around feeling like a giant and then riding on the small, stinky locomotive.

Being goofy at home.

Playing with friends while momma crafts.

Also trying to finish up projects before baby comes.

Just loving spending one on one time and going on adventures with our sweet boy Calum, before we become a family of four and life gets crazy.

Tia Katie

Have you met my friend Katie?

If you haven't I really should introduce you. She is pretty much the coolest, but don't bother looking her up on Facebook because she is too cool for that and basically any form of social media. But she does love NPR and has a major crush on this guy :)

Basically Katie is my hero. Anyway, this awesome friend of mine decided to come visit us this week. It was just like the good old days when Kevin, Katie and I were a family in Logan. Haha. Such a cute family photo :) It's been a while since we've had one of these.

Calum was in heaven with Tia Katie around. Both Katie and Calum love reading books so basically they were MFEO.

We tried to show Katie a good time while she was here. We ate out, a lot!

Hit up the zoo, where it rained on us, but we didn't mind too much.

Checked out downtown and Red Rocks, had BBQ's, swim paaaarties, and drug her to my doctors appointment where she got a little excited and begged to hear the babies heartbeat (she didn't realize they listen to it via ultrasound and that we would all hear it).

Calum has been pretty polite lately, saying please and thank you like a champ. When we were at Red Rocks, Kevin had Calum on his shoulders and as we walked around Kevin started smacking his lips and making funny noises. Calum attempted to copy his dad but just started spitting.
Kevin said "Thanks for spitting on me Calum."
Calum- "You're welcome dad!"
Hahaha. So polite. Apparently he does not understand sarcasm yet :)

Katie happened to plan her trip to Colorado perfectly, because it was the same weekend that some of my girlfriends were taking a little girls trip. We made a quick trip to Granby, CO. Even though we drove a ways for a night away, it was totally worth it. We stayed up late playing Booty and battling the biggest spider I have ever seen in real life. We spent the next day relaxing/baking ourselves at the pool. Seriously, it was sooo nice to have a night away from reality before baby #2 comes. Thanks cute friends for coming on this random adventure!

Granby didn't have much to do, but they did have this sweet contraption! I was really excited to try this little device to help lower my Shamu self into the pool. Free Willy!!! Katie wanted a turn too. Haha. We thought we were funny.

Don't worry, Kevin and Calum had fun too. They hit up 7-eleven's free Slurpie day, got free Subway at our apartments swim party...

...and scored some free meals from Chik-Fil-A cause they dressed up like a couple of cows :) Basically they don't need me to feed them. Haha.

All that free food tuckered them out. This was me trying to wake them up from their nap when I got home from our girls trip. Haha. Cutie boys.

Pretty much we had an awesome week. It was so fun to catch up with Katie and hear about all her fun single life adventures and show her what a hard life being a mom is. Haha. JK, we partied all week. We made mom life look glamorous :) Although, my five pregnant friends and I may have scared her away from ever wanting to bear children, hopefully not though. Calum needs some primos!
We were all really sad she had to go back to Utah. Calum fell asleep on the way to the airport, and when he woke up he was pretty distraught that Katie had left and that he didn't get to go to the airport. Poor kid. I guess Tia Katie will just have to come back real soon.
