Lucky Number Seven

Kevin and my anniversary was Sunday. Seven years, seven moves, and three kids! Seems like yesterday but also seems like Kevin's always been a part of my life. So glad we got to slow down and celebrate.

Well the slow down part is a lie. Friday night we went to a dinner party with some friends. On Saturday we took the kids to McDonalds for breakfast, went to two of my nephews basketball games, went to the Y to rock climb but there wall was closed, so we went to another climbing gym, came home fed Miles, grabbed a snack at the gas station, went and learned the Lyndi Hop,  then ate some Five Guys before running by Winco and heading home. It was a very fun, very busy day.
Miles was pumped the Aggies won.

Calum and Ailee wanted to take Miles down the slide.

We found a fellow Aggie to take some pictures of us at the climbing gym. Rock climbing is fun. Also, I'm scared of heights. Haha. (But this prepped me for climbing the rope at crossfit today. Bonus.)

We decided to go work on some dance moves instead of going out to dinner. Only we didn't realize that we'd have to swap dance partners all night, so that was kind of a bummer. Still fun to learn and bust a move for a bit once the little lesson was over. Of course this is the only picture I took. And then I'd been craving Five Guys so it was the perfect quick dinner. Nursing Miles makes going out kind of tricky.

We had a pretty low key sabbath, which was our actually anniversary. Calum, Kevin and me hot tubbed in our bathtub while the babies napped. Haha. Calum's a wild man.

How funny are these cuties. They always have the best outfits put together.

Ailee runs around the house clicking her tongue all the time. I don't know when or where she learned it but its a constant. Haha. She's cute. She was playing with a sleeping beauty doll at my moms and kept calling it Mommy. "It's my mommy" she kept saying.
I thought this was funny, Ailee's colors of choice. She is such a girl. Haha.
She asked my dad at church if he liked a crayon she was holding, he said "yes" and she said, "Don't eat it." Apparently she gets that a lot. Haha.

Miles is so mad in this picture but I had to show you this drool!! This is everyday. He drools nonstop. It just showed up so well on this shirt. Haha. He's so sweet.

This cute boy loves my phone. I try to limit it but sometimes its so fun cause he's just sit on my lap and play. I love him.

Kevin's works been way more low key lately, so we've actually gotten to have breakfast with him most days. So that's been nice.

Can you believe it's been seven whole years since we jump roped into forever? Haha. Kevin's so fun. Love him.

First Snow

Well it happened. We got snow. The kids were all giddy, Kevin was all giddy, it's that time of year. Time for family, food, snuggles and skiing. We are ready.
Calum was pretty pumped. These guys used pretty much all the snow in our yard to make this snowman. Haha.

The day before it snowed we had a nice little hike up to the nearby water tower. Calum and his cousins ran pretty much the whole way. Haha.

Calum tells me almost daily how he doesn't like our house and he wants us to live at Mama's or that he wants to live next door to Kelli or for them to live next door to us. I guess he doesn't think living in the same subdivision is close enough. Haha. He was begging to go to my moms the other day, and I asked him what he wanted to do there. He told me he wanted to get a drink. Haha. Apparently she has good drinks. (She does, Mama stuffs everyone that comes over with yummy food and beverage. I told her that she's kind of like the lady from Hansel and Gretel because she tries to fatten us all up. Haha. We love her for it, and thats why Mama's is the best!)
When we got home from church this week we were making lunch and Calum said, "I think I just heard the Holy Ghost..... He told me that I ate some sausages at the Ranch." Haha. Funny kid.
Calum went to Kelli's one day and when I picked him up I asked who he played with, "Of course everyone," He said. I love him.
My mom was sick last week so Calum wanted to take her some treats. He even prayed for her on his own. "I love mama, help her to get better." So my little helpers and I made a treat for her and we had a lesson about service. The next day Calum held a door open for a lady at the gym then looked at me and said, "Mom, I served!" And clapped his hands. Him and Presley also decided to help me out by "cleaning" the toy room. Calum came to get me to show me. He was all proud. They basically threw everything in a corner but it was pretty cute.

This is us in our fort we made for FHE

This is one of the wrist wraps I made for all the meat heads in my life.

Ailee's outfits have been pretty spot on as of late. Haha. Ailee loves adding "ey" at the end of words, "Miney" "Coldey" stuff like that. She also says, "I love you too much." She was brushing my hair tonight for a while and kept saying, "I brush your hair, I cute." Over and over. Haha. She also asks to wear "pretty make up" all the time. She's pretty dang cute.

Miles fashion sense seems so be as awesome as his siblings :)

But for reals, he is the smiliest thing. Everyone always is commenting on how happy and smiley he is. He is the best and I love him so.

Everyone loves him really. Ailee maybe even tried to pick him up today!! Yikes! I got to watch the one like a hawk.

Thankfoulgness

Kevin is finally done with Harvest! Yahoo!! It was a good run but we are so glad its over. No more early mornings to late nights. Everyones happy to have daddy back around. Kevin and me were even able to go on a date night with a million other couples :) He got cut out of the picture but I promise he was there. Haha.

Last family night the kids and I made a thankful tree. We've been adding things we're thankful for to it everyday.  It's been pretty fun. I've also been trying to post everyday on Instagram and Facebook something I'm thankful for. I've loved hearing the kids talk about blessings and what they are grateful for. They are getting too big.

We also started a journal for Calum and wrote a bunch of notes to people last Sunday he is hilarious. He was saying the cutest stuff. And then he asked me, "Can you snail (mail) that now?" He's been pretty sweet lately. He didn't want me to leave him the other day because "He loves me to much, and wanted to play with me."  I've also heard him say goofy things like.
"Jumping Columbus" & "Jumping Jellybeans." What a crack up. The best was seeing him in these little shorts the other day, I thought they were a little small so after I washed them I went to put them up and realized they were 6-12 months!!! Haha. That's like Miles size! How did he fit in those???Haha

Ailee is talking up a storm these days. Kevin said at the beginning of harvest she wasn't saying much and now she says whatever she wants. He was like, "How did this happen? Where have I been?" Haha. She had a little toy knife and was saying "Cut it. Cut it. Cut it." Over and over while pretending to slice everything in sight. Haha. She also asks for yem yems (M&M's) all the time. (We've been consuming way too much halloween candy as of late.)

On Friday night we took Ailee's pacifiers away and told her we could go pick out a toy at the store the next day for giving them up. Calum was a little bummed he couldn't get a toy but we told him he could get some ideas of what to ask Santa for Christmas so then he was good with it.

Ailee picked out a My Little Pony Playdough toy, (she also got a donut) so she's been obsessed with her ponies.

She's asked for her paci's a couple times but really I don't think it's phased her. So that's nice.

Miles has his 4 month check up. And had to get four shots!! :( It was sad. He did great though. He's 15lbs (25-50th%) and 26in (95th%). SO basically he's real tall.

He's been loving rolling all around on the ground and the other kids think it's pretty fun too.

Since he's so tall and roll we took down the bassinet and put the pack in play up in our room. I'm still not ready to permanently kick Ailee out of her crib. But Miles is loving the extra space.
The kids enjoying their root beer Kevin's secretary gave to them in their halloween goody bag. It was pretty cute.

How cute are my little Activity day girls raking a random persons yard. They were hilarious. And didn't quite get that we were trying to Pick Up the leaves at first. We had to turn it into a game of who could fill up their bag the fastest. And then they did awesome! Look at all those bags! Activity Days is the best!

Loving focusing on being thankful. We truly are so blessed.
