Merry Christmas

Christmas is always such a fun time of year, and that is certainly the case when it's spent with the Ramey family. There is never a shortage of kids, presents, parties, or food. And this Christmas did not disappoint.
We made the 12 hour drive to Boise and got to spend 5 fun filled days with my awesome family. Calum had so much fun with his cousins that we barely saw him, he was too busy, sliding, dancing and being one of the boys.

The line of kids waiting their turn to slide down the mattress in the stairwell.

We went to a couple Christmas parties and got some more use out of our awesome ugly sweaters.

Calum got his hair cut, watched some football, made messes and acted goofy.

On Christmas Eve, we hung our stockings from the reindeer with care.

And Spotted Saint Nick as he left all these presents!

Christmas morning was crazy! So many kids and presents, it was so fun to watch them all.

Of course Calum wanted to open up each of his presents and play with them. He had a hay day with all his new toys.

Kevin and Calum's favorite gift I think was their BSU hoodies ;) My parents attempt to convert the USU, BYU, and UofU alumni. Hey everyone needs a second favorite team right??

After we collected our goods we had to head back on the road. We stopped briefly in Ogden to exchange gifts and hugs.

Then it was on to Beautiful Wyoming...

Where we froze our buns off :)

As always after a long trip, we are glad to be home but are missing our family and friends already. Somebody needs to invent teleportation already so we can hang out all the time! Merry Christmas from the Foulger's! We love you all!

Thank You, You're Welcome

Calum's favorite thing to say this week is "Thank you, you're welcome."
We had a busy, busy week. Kevin finished this semester of school, I had bunco, a girls christmas party, made a gagillion Olliblocks and was supposed to get surgery on my wrist. But that didn't happen (more on that later.)
In our free time we checked out some sweet Christmas lights.

Had some indoor snow.

Partied in up at Monkey Bizness.

And made some crazy gingerbread houses/teepee's with our friends :)

Kevin was also festive and made me some Christmas Eggs and toast.
So there's my short and sweet post. Thank You, You're Welcome.

Mad Gab

Calum has become quite the talker these days. And as a result I am finding myself in a constant game of  Mad Gab. You know the game where you read the cards that says "Ask Rude Arrive Her" and the answer is "A Screwdriver." That game has become my life. Trying to decipher Calum's every word. It is pretty entertaining but can also be frustrating. The other day Calum kept saying "Soup Eye," he wouldn't stop and was getting soooo mad that I couldn't figure out what he wanted. Turns out he wanted to watch the show "Super Why."
He loves the TV these days and constantly wants to watch shows. I do my best to keep him entertained with activities and outings but it's hard to not give in when he screams and screams "Peeps! Peeps! Peeps!" (Wonder Pets) at me for what seems like ages. When he gets his way he becomes a couch zombie... look at this sack of potatoes :)

Don't worry grandmas out there. I am not letting Calum's brain turn to mush. We stay plenty busy around these parts. Calum has learned how to make amazing messes!

He's also perfected looking cute while being naughty. He thought he was being so helpful peeling this onion, and was pretty proud of himself that he rigged up this step stool to look for crackers.

Calum has gotten wilder, maybe he's just excited for Christmas, or maybe it's all the roughhousing with dad :) He thinks its funny to throw himself around, flail, and will even jump up and land straight on his bum. As a result of his wild man side he's become slightly accident prone. Calum bonked his face at A&W the other day and after a few sips of root beer was magically cured! I don't think all that sugar will help his wild side though :)

Calum helped me put together this snowman picture frame thing. He LOVED using the hammer and was so mad that I wouldn't let him do it by himself.

We got to spend the weekend up at Copper Mountain with some friends at an amazing town home that was literally like 50 feet from the ski lift. We had so much fun. Kevin got his hands on a $30 ski pass and was able to get out for the first time this season. Calum and I hung out with our friends, played in the snow and drank hot chocolate. Calum was bummed he couldn't ski while we were there.

But he was a good sport and settled for attempting to make a snowman with his girlfriends :)

I'm pretty sure this is the first time Calum has really played in the snow. He liked it up until he decided that he didn't want to wear gloves. He took them off and shoved his hands in the snow and he didn't love it as much after that. Yes those are pink pants!

We also went to check out the nativity and visit dad at the temple. It was pretty stinking cold but was still a fun outing.

I'm sure next week will be just as eventful. "Knee Veer Rattle Mow Mend" :)

Christmastime is Here

Christmas is coming! The Goose is getting FAT! Please put a penny in the horse at the store.

Thats how it goes right? No? Well that should be how it goes, since these days when I walk into our local grocery store Calum immediately starts asking to ride the horsey. He loves that thing, and seriously cannot wait to ride it. It's pretty darn cute.
But seriously, Christmas is right around the corner! And here at the Foulger house we have been getting ready.
Picking out a tree and decorating our tree.

Checking out the lights.

Dreaming about toys.

Making Christmas Crafts.
This was a template from theproperpinwheel.com she has some awesome ideas and tutorials.

Hanging our lights in shorts and a t-shirt?? (Thats right, the weather hasn't gotten the memo that Christmas is this month. It's been super warm!)

And getting family pictures for Christmas Cards.
Go to ashleyswappphotography.blogspot.com to check them out

We are also staying busy with other non-Chirtmas related activities.
Calum had his first trip to the dentist this week. He was a champ! A little scared at first, so I sat in the chair with him. Everyone was super nice and all and all it was a good trip.

Indoor, glow in the dark mini golf?? We're there man!

Story time at the Library, where Calum get's praised for his mad dance skills.

And our favorite thing to do, visit dad at work.
Calum love's all things that GO.

Including his bike. Evil Knievel in the making.

He has also learned to unzip things which is pretty funny.

He never fails to keep us entertained. Whether it's his happy dance he does when he gets yogurt, or his random snuggles he gives us, he always keeps us smiling. It is so fun to share the Christmas season with him and get to experience the wonder of it all through him. It makes me love Christmas even more!!
