Our Bountiful Anniversary

This year our anniversary was on Thanksgiving Day. We have truly been so blessed these last four years and it was so amazing to get to spend our anniversary with family and friends and reflect on all of our blessings.
We made the trek to Utah and Calum was such a good traveler.

We saw lots of people, including my friend Katie who recently got back from her mission, and Calum's newest cousin :)

Classic Papa

Calum loved plating with his cousins and their fun toys, I barely saw him at all. He was too busy filling his pockets full of dirt and jumping on the tramp (which was the first thing he wanted to do in the morning.)

Sweet bath hair

Calum figured out how to climb onto the top bunk. Yikes! You're too big.

Thinking he's pretty funny in his "hat"

Calum wanted in on the Turkey Bowl action.

But was content goofing off on the sidelines :)

Black Friday Madness with the Foulger's.

Since it was our anniversary and all, Kevin and I decided to take advantage of grandma's babysitting and spent our first ever night away from Calum. I think I had a harder time than Calum did.
We headed to Logan and relived our college days more or less :)
We ate at our favorite spots.

Hung out on Campus

And watched the Aggies clench the WAC title.

All in all it was a pretty stellar anniversary. Here's to four more baby! (We are going to need a bigger frame!)

Better Late Than Never

So this post should have been done a week ago, but last week was a little hectic with traveling and what not that I didn't get around to it. So I'm playing catch up. We were still recovering from our illnesses so we didn't get out a ton. But that didn't stop Calum from keeping us entertained. Calum attempts multiple times a day take his shirt off. He gets tangled in his clothes, and while he's squirming he says "arms up," because that is what we say. I try to keep a straight face while I convince him to leave his shirt on.
At church Calum loves singing the hymns. This week he couldn't wait to get to nursery. He went down there before it started and was begging to go in and do puzzles. We are glad he likes nursery :)

Feeling better

We still hadn't had Thanksgiving but that didn't stop us from getting into the Christmas spirit. We made ugly sweaters with our friends

And did a little early Christmas shopping.

There's no where to stash these big toys in our little apartment so basically Christmas came early for Calum. We figure he doesn't care when he gets them and we will wrap a few little things that are easy to bring on our trip, since we're spending Christmas in Boise.

Let the holidays commence! The Foulgers are ready!!

Family Sick Days

The flu has been making the rounds in the Foulger house, as a result we haven't gotten out much since Friday and have watched more TV then I think Calum has seen in his life. This is what we've all looked like, sitting on the couch with crackers and a drink. Calum is still cute when he's sick, surprise surprise :)

Before our quarantine began we did a few fun things. We used our jogger a lot this week on runs and hikes with friends. Calum loves when we get it out, he gets the front wheel and pushes it all around. Too funny.

We had a baby shower for my amazing friend Lucia. The only picture I took was of the cake I made for her. Haha. I was pretty proud of myself.

Calum loves to play with his dad. They played with this "race track" forever! They are so cute together.

Calum has finally figured out to say "yes" instead of "no" when he wants things which has made my life much easier. He also has to say "bye" to everything when we leave the house. "Bye drink, bye food, bye show, bye toys, bye Aggies, bye fuzz."  He's quite the character. We have started to have him help us say prayers which is super cute. But the cutest is when he starts to pray on his own, he's done it a couple times, when I've given him food or when he wasn't feeling good. He'll say "Heavenly father" and then continue to mumble. He is too precious. Just our sweet little child of God and we love him so much. Being sick is the pits, but we sure love all the extra snuggles from Calum!

Swish and Flick

Did we take Calum trick-or-treating this year you may ask. No we did not. Instead we attended a Muggle filled Murder Mystery Party at Swapp Manor. (I'm pretty sure this is the fourth week in a row that we have dressed up!)

The Sorting hat told us who we would be for the evening...
Kevin was the comical Fred Weasley

I was the quirky Luna Lovegood

And Calum was a Baby Mandrake

You wouldn't have known we decided to have this party fours days before by the looks of it. We must be half-bloods or something to have been able to conjure all this up out of no where. There were dementors, and floating candles in the Great Hall.

Not to mention the Golden Snitches- courtesy of Lexy

Butterbeer, Dragon Tartar, Wizards Wands, Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, and Herbology platters for us to stuff our faces with.

And the company was even better. Well besides the fact that one of us turned out to be a murderer! :)

Can you tell who is who?

A little too much fun! Thanks for hosting Ash! I'm glad my friends are Harry Potter nerds like me :)

Of course Calum is still cute as ever. He snuck in the bathroom while I was showering this morning and scared me so bad! I screamed. He thought it was funny. He's still scared of fuzz and can't go a minute without saying "Whaszat?" (What's that).  I am starting to notice his imagination. He will actually sit and play with toys  and jabber. See for yourself!

I got a new phone recently so I've been taking lots of pictures on that and haven't yet figured out the most efficient way to get those photos onto the computer. Hopefully I'll have that figured out by next week. In the mean time, here is a little tease. And feel free to follow me on Instagram: k2foulger.
