About Me

Hi, I'm Kinzie, owner of Ivy and Dot's dress and bow tie shop. I'm a pretty down to earth girl who is always up for an adventure and HATES missing out on anything. I am originally from Idaho but am currently living in Denver. I have two children and an awesome husband. I started this blog a few years back to keep our family and friends updated on the day to day happenings of our little clan. So if you want to be bombarded by photos of my children go ahead and look around.

My Shop

My sewing career started one New Years Eve when me and my friend decided to make her mom a quilt. So we rummaged through her scrap fabric got a needle and thread and went to work. It didn't turn out pretty and it took us much longer to make a 2x2 foot quilt than we had anticipated. I was 8. Since then I have learned the art of sewing from many wonderful women, my mom, my grandma, my mother-in-law. I am still learning and growing and trying new things. I have become obsessed with making itty bitty things for my babies, because lets be honest, everything is cuter when it's itty bitty. I Can't Quit Sewing!!! I started a shop so I can have a more legit excuse to sew non-stop. :D Hope you love my stuff as much as I do!
