M.I.A.

You're probably wondering where I've been all week. Honestly I haven't gotten around to blogging because I have been spending all my extra time hanging pictures and such around my house. You'd think it wouldn't take much time but oddly it has. Haha. I can't make decisions so deciding on pictures and frame placement and such was a lengthy battle. And then I had to find the pictures, print them and hang the frames. You like my pictures of pictures? Haha. Still waiting on a few prints :)

We also officially moved Miles into Calums room so I finally got around to hanging some of their stuff in that room. It's been fun, and time consuming and fun.

And when I haven't been homemaking I've been child raising. Which is also time consuming and fun :) So there you have it. But we've had a good week. Played with Kelli's kids got back to the routine. Kids like routine. They do well with routine. Ailee's back to here million outfits a day,

Miles is back to his exploring,

  Calums back to his teasing,
and Kevin's back to working outside!!!
He was pretty pumped to trim our bushes. He talked about it all week. Haha. Glad he's getting back to his old self. Our yard has been a wreck ;) Jk. But seriously. We're glad he's back at it.

And  the weather has been stellar so we've enjoyed the Vitamin D. Ailee's pretty awesome on the balance bike, she doesn't even sit on it, she just waddles with it between her legs :) Kevin and her are besties.

Kevin surprised Calum with tickets to Monster Jam! Such boys. They had a blast watching the monster trucks squish cars and spin cookies (<---watch Kevin's going to give me a hard time for not calling the doughnuts.)

He's 8 months??!

So there you have it Happy Sabbath. On to another week of crazy.

I Love to See the Temple, I'm Going There Today, Tomorrow and the Next Day

We headed down to Utah again! Our nephew was getting married. We accomplished quite a bit though during the trip. Kevin appeared in court for his accident, he had to pay some money for his "attempted skiing out of bounds" charge, but not a ton. Haha. Could have been worse, but it also could've been better (like if there was no charge at all). So Kevin's a hardened criminal now. :)
Kevin also had an appointment with his surgeon, said he's doing good and that Kevin could start walking on his leg now. So that's bueno. He still may end up having to get his hip replaced in the next year or so, but we're hoping that won't be the case. You'd think he's a gangster the way he limps. Haha
We went to the air museum in Ogden. The kids had fun, but I think the older boys (Keith and Kevin) had the most fun. Boys. Such boys.

Kevin and me went on a date to the Ogden temple Thursday, Friday we took the kids to the Provo Town Center Temple open house, and then Saturday we went to the Oquirrh Mountain temple for Nate and Tori's wedding. We must've been in Utah or something with all our temple visits :) We enjoyed all our temple visits. I'd just wished I would've been smarter and packed more than one church outfit for each of us since we literally had to wear them four days in a row. We did a lot of laundry :)

I got to briefly visit my sister, we folded socks and she showed me some of her sweet moves at the gym.
We stayed at the "Other" Foulgers. The kids liked seeing their Colorado buddies. And surprisingly Miles really liked their dog. Calum and Ailee both cried when they got around animals, but Miles was super intrigued. It was pretty funny.

Saturday was a blur of wedding festivities and a quick trip to Ikea :) Miles and Ailee partied a little too hard. :)

Ailee slept through most of the reception. Luckily she woke up just in time for bubbles.

All in all we had a good trip. Had some fun with cousins and even taught Ilene how to rip an apple in half with her bare hands!!

Somewhere my kids picked up, "ups eeps" instead of oopsies. Its funny. Ailee also kept saying "What's that stink?" whenever they smelled something a little off. Kevin loves that they have sensitive noses like me. I just think Kevin's nose is broken because he never smells anything :)
My favorite conversation we had on the road however was Calum saying he couldn't wait to get home so he could fix Presley's little toy guitar and play it.
We told him we had a guitar he could play and that maybe Uncle Bootchy could teach him a song.
Calum replied, "Or maybe I could teach him, cause I'm kind of a natural."
Bahaha. Apparently he got a little too much praise the other night when he was strumming the guitar at my parents. Hahaha.

Will You Accept This Rose?

You guys its a miracle! I finally mended a big stack of clothes that had been piling up. I had to document because it really was a great feat.

Ruba a dub dub three kids in a tub...

Miles thinks he's one of the big kids now. Taking baths in the big tub, eating food and crawling all around. He even is starting to pull himself up to kind of standing, more of a downward dog position, he thinks he's big. My parents even swore he said, "I love you." The other night. Haha. Slow down Miles! I love our one on one time getting to snuggle you. You are so happy. Love you so much it makes me cry.

On Saturday we had a Valentines breakfast.

Tried to get some Valentines pictures of the kiddos. It was eventful.

Valentines was our 8 year anniversary of our first date :) So crazy it's been that long! Kevin and me went out to dinner and then saw the new Star Wars movie. It was fun to have a night out. The restaurant gave us a rose, Kevin pretended he was the Bachelor and gave a little speech then asked me to accept the rose. We were laughing pretty good. I love Kevin. It's so good to spend time with just each other.

Don't worry, I didn't shave my head. It's my Jedi braid. Shoooom (Thats my light saber noise).

Tried to get pictures of all my little Valentines Sunday morning. They're so fun. How did people get decent pictures of their children before digital cameras??? I take seriously a million before I get one good one, and sometimes not even then :) They're pretty darn cute but they sure have a hard time holding still and smiling on command. Haha.

Sunday night we made heart shaped pizzas and my parents, Kelli brought a valentines piƱata, and Calum serenaded us on the guitar. It was a pretty fun night. And Calum was seriously loving the guitar. It was pretty cute.

My parents stopped by the house yesterday on their motorcycles. The kids went for a ride around the block. They loved it. Ailee was squealing with delight the entire time. I sure love my little Valentines.

Ailee likes to put Miles in a headlock and knock him over. She is trying to hug him but it rarely turns out well. The other day she was holding him like that saying, "I got you, you're safe." Miles wasn't reassured. Haha. She also crawls around and tries to get him to follow her.
Calum has been very honest lately. He tells the truth even when he gets in trouble. It makes me happy. Ailee loves to get into things in my bathroom. The other day there was a mess in my bathroom  and I started to get after Ailee. Calum piped up, "It was me that made the mess." Made me so happy that he was honest, I gave him a big hug and told him how grateful I was.
I love seeing these guys learn and grow and  become their own people. Being a parent is so fun.
