Funny Faced Foulgers

Apparently this was the week to make goofy faces. We all succeeded.
Calum doesn't like to eat, but when he does he shoves all the food on his plate in his mouth in two bites. (My parents laugh because that's how I used to eat)

Ailee on the other hand looooves to eat. And loves to feed herself. The result is multiple changes of clothes a day. She's pretty cute.

She also likes to dress herself.

Calum's cute faces in the car on the way to and from our last minute day trip to Gold Fork Hotsprings.

Calum behind the camera capturing Kevin and my good looking faces. Haha.

So there you have it, our goofy faces of the week. We did do other things besides make faces. My activity day girls and me had a tea party.

I sewed on some Stinking badges to Kevin's scout shirt. The first of many to come I'm sure. I was really nervous. But they turned out alright, minus the fact that I sewed one on upside down. Ooops.

My parents are officially snowbirds. They up and left us and flew south for the rest of winter. Don't tell anyone, but Kevin and me have enjoyed doing more chores and taking care of the house. It's good to be productive. Haha. I've made dinner two nights in a row and it feels good! Haha. But now I have to go do dishes. Uhg. It's a love hate thing I guess. :)

Ailee's New Tricks

This week Ailee learned all sorts of new tricks. She's been trying to talk a lot more. Including, Bye bye, Papa, All done, Mouth, Nose and seriously a bunch of other words. It's crazy how all of a sudden they just start picking things up left and right. Here are some of her other tricks from the week.
So proud she put my shirt over her head

Using everyones toothbrush in our drawer

Litte fashionista

Saying "Cheese" in both of these pictures

Making funny pictures at the phone

She even posted he very first post on Instagram. Haha.

Fondue Party. Ailee sure enjoyed it.

Typical bedtime. Ailee trying on all her hats, while we read Calum stories....

And a little bit of wrestling

I took my make up off the other day and thought my eyes looked like Ailee's. So I took this picture to compare. What do you think?

Calum was also running around here somewhere this week, apparently he was too busy to get his picture taken much. Haha. The only picture I got is him drinking his morning Strawberry milk. Haha.

Playing with fun new toys

We sure love Mama and Papa
Kevin started his new job at the Sugar Beet company. They had some annual dinner that we went to and met a bunch of people, Kevin's done some training, got a tour of the factory and checked out some of his area. He's still got lots to learn. But he seems to be enjoying hanging out with the laid back country folk :)

At least he doesn't have to wear this hat to work.

I think I started feeling the baby move this week, so that is fun and exciting. I actually am feeling a bit better this week. I even sat down at my sewing machine for the first time in weeks  and made these fun little bow ties for Valentines Day.

But I do have a confession to make...

A couple of my friends started a company called Be Bonefide and are doing a campaign asking people to share a confession on social media to show that we are all imperfect regardless of how our lives look in pictures. Pretty awesome reminder for everyone. Go check out there site and look at other confessions.

My Sugar Daddy

When I decided to go to Utah State back in the day, my dad told me that I was going to end up marrying a farmer. Turns out he was right :) Kevin got offered a job on Saturday! He will start working for the Amalgamated Sugar Company this week as a crop consultant. He'll be helping keep an eye on sugar beet farms in western Idaho and Oregon. He's now a beet farmer just like good old Dwight Schrute! My friends told me that farmers are in right now, since the Bachelor is a farmer this season. So apparently Kevin's pretty hot right now. Haha. We are pretty excited. Lots of room to grow at the company and we know some people who work there or who have worked there who really liked it. So we are feeling pretty blessed.
We are celebrating by eating brownie batter and dancing around with boxes on our heads.

Calum's been snuggling me a bit more these days and it's pretty fun. He comes and tells me nonsense. Makes me happy.

This kid is now a sunbeam! He did great in primary. They said he was the best in his class. He's getting too big!

Ailee and her cousin are two peas in a pod these days. They get so excited when they see each other. Yell and squeal and jump up and down. They are pretty cute little buddies.

Other than that we've just been chillin.
It's ridiculous how not motivated I am. Feeling gross and tired and just unmotivated. My sister said I'm growing a human, so I should be wiped out all the time. But my kids are pretty cute and entertaining.
Well there's always some sort of entertainment around here actually. Today my sisters kids were over making a ruckus upstairs and all of a sudden I heard a BOOM and the lights went out. I yelled upstairs, "What are you guys doing."
"Just playing." They responded.
My mom was going to go to the store. I went outside to ask her where the breaker was. And she yells back, "I hit the electrical box and ITS ON FIRE!"
She ran into it with their huge diesel truck. The transformer was smoking but no open flames and eight houses on our block were without power. Haha. Luckily no one got hurt. So that was the excitement for today. It's always something. Haha

Ringing in the New Year

The day after Christmas we packed up and headed to my cabin. The roads were great and the kids were awesome. Calum did not want to leave his helmet behind.

It snowed a lot while we were up there which made it so fun.

The pool is fed by a hot spring, but it never is super hot, probably a solid 75 degrees or so year round. A brave few decided to go for a dip. Calum really wanted to go one night, so him and Kevin jumped in. Haha. The swam a lap or so then got out. Pretty funny to see Calum wanting to be one of the big boys.

We did drive to a real hot springs and go for a dip. Ailee fell asleep on the way there so me and her hung out in the car.

A big crew went up skiing at the nearby ski hill, Brundage. Apparently it was amazing snow. They said it was kind of busy, once they almost had to wait a whole five minutes to get on the ski lift :) Haha.

Calum took two runs and loved it.

He also loved the hot chocolate after :)

When we weren't out playing in the cold, we were inside snuggling, laughing, playing games and doing puzzles.
Calum wore this helmet around for almost an entire day.

Ailee with lipstick on, she also got into a lot of toilets.

We celebrated cute Bo's birthday. Calum told me a few times that he was his best buddy. Pretty cute.

One night we watched Elf and would pause it and do different things. It was pretty fun. We played hide and seek, sung, had burping contests, bubble blowing contests and tickle fights. We also had a long jump competition and of course spaghetti with syrup. Haha.

Ailee did not sleep good at the Ranch and ended up in our bed every night. The first morning, I woke up and she was sleeping like this. In between the slots of the headboard. Every other night we barricaded the headboard with pillows so she wouldn't end up like this. Girl is a wild sleeper. Kevin and me did not sleep great as a result. But we did do a lot of sleeping in to try and compensate. Haha. Anyway, we were glad to get back home and have our children get back on some sort of sleeping schedule.

But the party did not stop I tell ya. Darcie's family was in town fro over a week so the fun went on. Date nights, girls shopping outings, races on the bouncy balls that everyone got for Christmas and yoga challenges... Hahaha. This is typical at the Ramey house, some sort of physical shenanigans. Pretty comical.

The crossfitters in the fan also convinced us to have a family gym day. This is us doing our WOD (workout of the day). Kevin pushed himself a little too hard and threw up! Strangely he went back to the gym a few days later... Maybe he's getting hooked after all?

On New Years we went to the Reckless Kelly concert with our friends Tianna and Brad. It was a fun concert Kevin and I had both never heard them but it was a really fun concert.

Kevin got to go to the USU/BSU basketball game. Aggies won with a buzzer beater. Needless to say Kevin had fun.

Kevin also had a second interview with the sugar beet company here in Boise. Lookin sharp.

We're hoping for good things this new year. Excited to watch these silly kids learn and grow and to welcome a new little monkey into the world. So grateful for my little family, can't wait to see what 2015 has in store for us!
