Kevin's birthday was last week so naturally we partied all week long.
We started off the festivities going to dinner with some friends. The next day we braved the scorching heat and took the train to the Rockies game. Calum really liked the train :)
The next day we went camping. And I thought Calum was so cute, being a boy and getting dirt on his face.
But a little dirt quickly accumulated and before long he looked like Charlie Brown's friend Pig Pen.
We couldn't have a fire because of the ban, but the kids loved the glow sticks and flashlights. He looks angry but he really was having fun. Haha.
This was Calum and my first time sleeping in our new big tent, and we slept pretty soundly. Calum only got in bed with us in the morning cause he woke up cold.
The party continued the next day when we went to our first ever polo match. It was pretty awesome. It was a charity event so they had it catered and had activities for the kiddos and stuff. We even got a golf cart ride to and from the field. (I think they felt bad for the pregnant lady :)
Calum loved watching the big horses run around and even tried to sneak onto the field. Later got lost for a good 15 minutes or so. So that was eventful. I've mentioned before that he's a runner.
All in all, I think Kevin had a pretty good birthday week. And Calum had fun too :) Happy Birthday Dad! We Love You!
