As you can imagine we slept in after our late night at Disneyland. We took the kids swimming before we left the hotel. There was a hot tub on the roof they were really excited to try out. But Ailee is not a fan of hot things and preferred the cooler ground level pool.
The wedgie helps her swim Haha.
The view from the roof. Good old Disneyland.
Luckily the ride back to Vegas wasn't near as terrible leaving Vegas. Although we did stop in Baker and it was 114 DEGREES!!!!! I think thats the hottest place I've ever been. I bought some ice cream and get this, it was $14 for four ice creams!!!! What a rip! You like the makeshift bib? Haha.
In Vegas stayed at Kevin's uncles. We had fun catching up with them. His cousin lives a few houses down and they have this awesome playroom set up. The kids had a ball.
The next day we drove back to Ogden. But not without a pit stop to Neilsen's Custard in St George. Miles was a fan
We stayed at Kevin's parents in Ogden then drove the rest of the way on Sunday. The kids were seriously such troopers. We took the scenic route and stopped to visit lots of people. But it was so nice seeing so many people we haven't seen in ages! Also breaking up the drive. was pretty nice because we never had terribly long driving days. By the time our kids were about done we were almost to our next stop. We really had such a great vacation trip. I talked to someone once who said a trip is when you go anywhere with your kids, a vacation is when you leave your kids home. Haha. I kind of have to agree. Family trips are a lot of work and leave you feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation. Honestly it was lots of work but it was so much fun, and we made memories that will last forever! Thanks so much everyone who let us stay with you! We really did have the best time with each of you!
