We had a fun weekend with the fam. Darcie and her family came up so we got to spend some time with them. Of course we all had to go to the gym together. It was funny there were all of us, my cousin and his wives cousin. We took over the gym. Haha. Plus all of our kids were in the daycare. It was out of control.
We had a birthday party for Eva, spent a night making pies, went and saw Mockingjay. We had fun visiting, coloring, dancing and eating.
I had fun playing with "Weeva."
So you wanna make pie? Yes I wanna make pie. I make pie like a samurai. I told my family the holidays aren't complete without watching Home Alone with Papa and making pies with Mama. So that is just what we did, and it was a riot. I'm not even teasing! Mama's one liners were the best! And he softening the butter by bucking it on the counter. She's my mom! She's the best!!
We had all these fun print outs. The kids (and adults) had fun coloring them :)
The boys worked up an appetite by shooting clay pigeons.
My mom was worried we didn't have enough food! Haha.
They even cooked some giant turkey legs. Calum took care of his. My dad called them a pterodactyl legs. Haha. They were giant.
They made this funny meme for the cross fit page. Calum's famous. Haha.
It said to write a Thanksgiving Haiku on one of the printables. This was mine...
Coloring pictures.
Pie to the face from Rex.
River likes to puke.
(A few people got pies in their faces and my little three year old cousin River ate too much, got mud on him and someone asked if it was poo. So that made him throw up his entire meal and almost set off a barf-o-rama. Kind of amazing. Haha)
So basically my haiku about sums it up.
My sisters, me and three of my nieces hit up a couple stores for Black Friday. I pretty much just went along for the ride. My niece Ashley was hilarious. She thought she lost her $50 and tried to break a few things at Anthropologie. Haha. She's my fav.
One night we had a pretty stellar dance party and fashion show. Haha.
We kept getting confused all weekend who was who, so we thought it'd be fun to dress alike and take pictures of all of us. Haha.
The little girls wanted in too :) Only missing Cara and Bayli.
All in all a fun little weekend with the fam and we had leftovers for days! Cause pumpkin pie for breakfast really is the best :)
Don't worry my kids are still crazy as ever.
We caught Calum trying to unlock a door with this fork. And here he is making time out as fun as possible. Gosh. Haha
Ailee wants make up and nail polish all the time.
And these guys wanted a hot tub party again since we had one the other week. Haha. Complete with shower caps. I love them! Haha.
Miles turned five months! He's still just happy as a clam. He's pretty squirmy, and rolls all around on the ground. He's liking his bouncer and he's figuring out how to put toys in his mouth. He is constantly covered in slobber. We love him so.
I really loved doing our thankful tree this season. It helped us to be grateful all month long. My kids loved it too. Grateful for this time to reflect and recognize all our our blessings. Now onto Christmas!
