A jumping spider almost pounced on my face just now! I killed it. I sat back down and then felt something move in my hair! I promptly started smacking my face only to find that my rubber band broke in my hair. I am a dork. I even had a little scratch on my ear after the whole encounter. Why are spiders so creepy? Not only did this happen but earlier this week I found a black widow in our new garage!!! Ahhh. I died a little and then stomped on it two or three times to ensure it was dead. I don't like spiders. Anyway...
Calum's bike finally came.
I had to convince him the ski boots weren't going to work so well. It's a balance bike and he hasn't quite figured it out but I have high hopes.
He does still like to cruise on this bad boy though. He bombed down a "hill" and wanted to do it again, I told him he had to wear his helmet, which was at home. He keeps asking to go back. Haha.
Speaking of bikes, I towed Calum and Ailee in the bike trailer to our house. Not super far, and mostly flat, but let me tell you I am out of shape. It killed me. I was glad we made it. Haha.
Just making themselves at home in our still barren house. Hoping to get a couch soon. We still aren't entirely in. I turned on all the utilities and then rented a carpet cleaner for the day, but the water didn't get turned on. So we had to haul water from the neighbors and then from my parents to our house to clean the carpets. It was quite the ordeal. We've been moving stuff in slowly but surely, I just want to get all our stuff over there so we aren't living half way in between two houses, and having to clean and haul stuff to each. It's kind of obnoxious. But we also have no furniture yet, so it's kind of hard to hang out over at the new place. Haha. Hopefully soon though.
We went to the aquarium with some friends. Calum thought it was fun, Ailee was scared of all the animals. Haha. Well, she liked the really little fish, but everything else frightened her.
Feeding the Lizards
And the birds, this was the clearest picture I got :(
Funny Calum tells me at church, "Remember I got suckers at the temple where dad grew flowers."
"Uh huh," I respond.
"I'm Not Talking About Sugar BEETS!"
Where does he come up with this stuff??
Ailee was fussing the other night, then got really quiet. I went upstairs and heard Calum jabbering and Ailee laughing. I went in their room and found Calum in her crib, saying he wanted a sleep over.
Ailee girl still loves babies. There was a ward dinner Saturday night and Ailee would not leave the babies alone. She would spot a baby and make a bee line for it. She's pretty hilarious. Here she is feeding her dolly a rock.
We were at my sisters house Friday night and Ailee decided to get in the tub with Presley, she was fully clothed, shoes and all.
Looking cute even in Calum's shorts. She was trying so hard to put these on the other day, Nothing else was going to cut it.
Kevin and these monkey's decided to conquer Simplot's Hill after church. They made it back fairly unscathed, however Ailee did get a grass stain on her tights. Haha.
So hopefully we get moved in this week, and I will have no more spider encounters. Keeping my fingers crossed
