So Calum was getting pretty attached to his pacifiers. We only let him have them when he was going to bed, so he would ask multiple times a day to get into his crib, then beg to get out right when I put him in. He would also insist on having more than one binky, and would wake up in the middle of the night crying for a binky and he would have one in his mouth. Needless to say, it was time to cut the cord. So the night we got back from our trip it was bye bye binkys. We kept them in a box that looked like a monster, so we told him the monster must have got hungry while we were away and ate his binkys. He was sad for about 5 minutes then was over it. He has had a a harder time chilling out when we lay him down some times and have had some rough moments. But all in all it's been a pretty smooth transition. Sleepin like a champ!
Calum had his two year check up this week and also a follow up with the urologist. His appointment with the urologist went well. They said his kidneys and everything look good, so we are thrilled about that. He weighs 25 lbs 4 oz, and is 32 1/2 inches tall. He's in about the 25th percentile for both, but his growth is following the curve it should be, so thats good.
I think we picked up an illness at one of our appointments, because the flu decided to give us each a run for our money. We have spent a lot of time inside and being lazy this week.
But we did have a little fun before we got slammed with the vicious flu.
Calum has been loving helmets and his new skateboard.
Calum, has learned to take his diaper off, so that is fun. And random shot of him making trouble at Costco.
We are on the mend at the Foulger house, so that's a bonus. We are looking forward to springtime and the end of the cold and flu season!
