This week me and Calum were bribed with plane tickets to Boise. Who could pass that up? Not this Idaho girl thats for sure. We had lots of fun visiting family, friends and playing with cousins. Calum loved being around all the kids, he thought he was a big boy.
...but he wasn't to sure about some of the adults. That what the tears are all about here. Haha. Don't get me wrong he loves his aunts and uncles, but when he was tired and an unfamiliar face would come talk to him he got a little upset... ahem Cody W.
But as always he loved playing with his Mamma and Papa.
Finley got a little jealous of Calum hangin out with her Papa so she had to come join in the fun.
We got to visit great grandma Ramey. (Calum is wiping Eva's nose off here. We didn't show him what to do he just started doing it. It was so funny!)
We also got to meet cousin Bowman for the first time ever. Calum seriously loved him. Kept giggling and moving his arms. He may have accidentally whacked him a time or two. I guess thats pay back from Eva beating up on him :)
Some of my nieces and nephews were on spring break, we got a little bored and had to get creative with activities. Here we are doing our rendition of Fear Factor. We would mix 4 ingredients together and the taster had to try and determine what was in it. Some of the concoctions were nastier (Riley) than others. But we had fun plotting and tasting.
Calum got really good at giving high fives this week. Here he is practicing with Papa.
After watching all the big kids running around, Calum decided that he was no longer a baby and started being brave. He learned to climb up onto this castle all by himself and slide down. He thought it was so fun, he kept doing it over and over.
All in all it was a good little visit. Calum did great on the plane but was glad to get home to his Daddy.
The crazy "Hood"lums reunited!
Calum did catch a bit of a cold while we were there. But that doesn't stop him from being the silly boy he is. Yesterday I was in the kitchen and he nudged my leg and jabbered as if to say "Mom look at me." I looked down to see Calum with the strainer on his head. I laughed and he laughed. He kept it on his head for a few minutes and was laughing and being a little ham the whole time.
He has been a messy little eater lately. And is becoming more picky. If he doesn't get what he wants he'll spit it out or throw it. He is also reverting to the "I like to put things in my mouth stage." We had dinner at a friends house on Sunday and he had a pair of Polly Pocket pants in his mouth. I took them out and then he tried to eat my face. It cracked me up. But seriously, such a punk. I think maybe some more teeth are coming in or something. But he is still super cute and we love him tons and tons.
