It's a Done Deal- Katie and Chad Got Married!

We headed back down to Utah this weekend for my good friend Katie's wedding. Our friend Ado threw her a fun "I Do BBQ" for her bridal shower Thursday night. We reminiced about Katie's snuggles, smelling like onions in the LLC, puff painting peace shirts, our awesome conversations, eating her beans in Mexico, Katie basically being Kevin and my third child our senior year at USU. Seriously good times.  I stayed down in Salt Lake for one last girls night with Miss Katie Fred (of course I took no pictures, I only take pictures of my kids these days! Ha) and Kevin and the kids stayed in Ogden at Grandma and Grandpa's.

Of course we went to the Aggie game Friday night. There was a super fun tailgate party, complete with bounce houses and swag. The kids we're pumped. Ailee wandered off again. Gave me a heart attack. She needs to stop doing this. Luckily it was a white out and she was wearing bright pink! The game lasted forever for some reason, so Ailee, Miles and me went and fell asleep in the car the last quarter. Haha.

Love Ailee's face and Calum's mullet! Seriously considering doing his hair like this. Haha. Reminded me of the kid bearing his testimony in Riggins about the "Mullets werzin by his head!"

Late night at the game + an early morning headed to PG = Calum barfing in the car!
Luckily we trapped most of it in his sleeping bag. Made for a lovely detour. He was feeling nice and chipper after he spewed. Well enough in fact to devour ice cream, cake and candy at Sadie's birthday party and then more treats at the wedding that night. Pretty sure they just ate sugar all day Saturday. He really wanted to smash his face in the cake. Nut.

Darcie was nice enough to watch our kiddos while we went to Katie and Chad's sealing. She didn't have much going on just a birthday party with, I counted, 18 little girls! Ailee was in heaven. And Calum just likes to party.
The wedding was so great! Temple sealings are just so awesome. So happy for Katie and Chad and so glad we could be there with them on such a special day!

My favorite moment was when Katie was trying to have me bustle her train out in front of the temple.  The hook was pretty high up under her dress, we ended up fixing it in the bathroom. Probably best. Haha. I love Katie.

Stitched up this fun little hand towel for them. Too fun. Probably my speediest embroidery, I think I got carpal tunnel. :D

Such a fun night! I loved that they had this craft table. Such a good idea. They were digging it.

Miles would not leave this wood pile alone. Calum asked if they were lumberjacks because they had little log slabs on their centerpieces. Haha.

My favorite parts of the night were Chad singing "Sweet Caroline," Freaking hilarious!! And then the pre teen that no one knew getting up randomly singing Cake's "The Distance." I almost died.
So happy for You Freddy Roberts crew.
I am in love with my kids. They are the best.
Ailee was eating "Goldfish" and she said, "Gols (girls) eat gol-fish and boys eat boy-fish" Funny girl.

She loooooooves dance. And her ballet bun was killing me! Haha.

Miles latest thing is he likes to kick a soccer ball around. Like, he just dribbles it all around the house. What a stud. He's gonna be a soccer player.
He looks so big sitting at that table. Thought it was funny wearing this noisy skirt. Ailee was calling him "money bummy" :D

Grabbed this blanket and snuggled up on the floor for a while. Cutie.

He was also loving playing with this cars track. Even though he doesn't look like it.

Calum had some rough moments this week. His teacher came out of class shaking her head and giving me a thumbs down. He had a serious melt down as we were leaving to Utah. One thing lead to another and he decided he really wanted a stick called "Sticky" he screamed "Sticky!!!!" In the car for probably ten minutes. Why does he get so worked up about things??
But his teacher told me today that he has been doing so good. That she doesn't have to worry about him doing what he should anymore because he just does it. Yay!

He spent forever building his Mav Max truck.

Him and his buddies (and Ailee's) playing ninja's. They are too fun.

Swift kick to the throat. Haha. Not really the camera angle just looks like it.

We decided to ride our bikes over to Mammaw and Papa's. Calum was singing the Aggie fight song the whole way there. Hail the Utah Aggies! All these Aggie games are brainwashing him good. He told us today he used to like the Utes but now he likes the Aggies and that he's only going to wear his Aggie shirt Haha.  And of course it started to rain as soon as we hit the road. Haha. Just our luck. It was still fun . Luckily we don't live too far away!
