Ailee's favorite thing is to get Kevin's deodorant and pretend to put it on and say "weyo, weyo, weyo." The other day she was hanging out outside my door saying, "weyo." I told her Miles was sleeping so she didn't need to get in my room. But she jet kept saying, "weyo." Finally I realized she wanted the deodorant. Haha.
Painting Rocks with my activity day girl and being cute
We cooked up some beets from our garden. The kids really liked them. I was surprised.
Spider update... Kevin kept feeding it and it was getting huge!! It was pretty cool/terrifying to watch it wrap up and eat its prey. But you know what they say, what goes around comes around. We came out the other day and the spider wasn't there. After further inspection we spotted a preying mantis with the spider in its grasp! So, I'm not going to lie, I'm a little happy that this giant thing isn't lurking outside my front door anymore.
The snuggle selfie is the best type of selfie.
These cuties only want to put on each others jammies. The only way I could convince them to put real clothes on was to let them match. They're pretty cute.
Miles had his two month appointment and Ailee had her two year. Here are their stats. They both had to get shots. They did Ailee's first and then brought out the tray of needles for Miles and she got so scared that they were for her. It was sad. But she did awesome and later tried to feed her sucker to a stuffed alligator at the office. (Glad those don't scare her anymore)
Got to go to a fun/funny girls night to Celebrate our friend Charity's wedding last week.
Last Wednesday rolled around and we were just hanging out in our jammies when I got a text from my friend asking if Calum was sick because he wasn't at preschool... Whoops. I thought it was supposed to start after labor day and was so confused. So we scrambled to throw clothes on and piled in the car. He was an hour late. #winning #momfail Since it's kind of a trek to preschool we played at the nearby park while we waited for Calum to get out. Ailee was still in her jambes, had no shoes on and I had to put one of Miles diapers on her (It didn't really fit). So it was a pretty awesome first day back to school. Haha. On the plus side Calum was so excited, he told me it was the best day ever! And I had to bribe hiim to get him to leave. Little mismatched cutie.

Grandma and Grandpa Foulger came up for the weekend. We loved getting to see them! We drug them all over the place. It was a fun little weekend.
We were glad to start the weekend with a win rom the Aggies. An ugly win, but still a win :)
Ailee doesn't love people dressed up as mascots so when we told her Big Blue was upstairs she got a little concerned. She was happy to find out we just meant Big Blue the stuffed animal :)

Then we woke up bright and early to go check out the balloons. We were glad we got to see them this time cause when we went to New Mexico to see them it was too windy for them to fly.
These two almost never look at the camera for me... what are they looking at?
Oh there they go. Silly goofs.
We counted 38 balloons. It's not Albuquerque but we'll take it!
Love these cuties
We were so happy to bless Miles this weekend. He really is such a happy, special little boy. It was so great being surrounded by family and really just realizing what an amazing family I have.
Miles was blessed by Kevin, Cody W, Jared, both his grandpa's and the bishop. He was fussing when they started but once they got started he chilled out and just stared at Kevin while he spoke. I guess he spit his binky out and my dad caught it and put it back it. He said the same thing happened when they blessed Ailee. Haha. So I guess my dad's job is the binky catcher :) He was blessed with so many wonderful gifts and it was so special to witness. Even if our other two hooligans were causing trouble during the whole thing ;)
I sure love my family. So glad you came to join us Miles. We love you so much.
Three generations of cuteness right there.
Of course we had to celebrate with food. Ailee's such a good helper.
and eater. :)
She is sooooo different than Calum we put her in time out and she does this. Sits there with her eyes closed and ignores us. Hahaha. What a goof.
While I was chasing Calum all around the cross fit gym, trying to get him to get in the car, Ailee waited patiently in the car and applied some mascara... She was pretty proud of her self, and the people at the post office got a kick out of her too.
She is obsessed with clothes, puts together her own outfits and wants to wear some sort of crown just about anytime we go out. What is that face?? Haha.
She got this outfit out of the dirty clothes and clearly put it on herself.
She also loves Miles a little too much as of late. She'll go lay on him, kiss him and try and shove his pacifier in his mouth all the time. Even when he's sleeping. It drives Miles crazy
Let's be honesty the only time this kid is crabby is when Ailee is pestering him. :)
Ailee and Calum are quite the pair. He was refusing to wear a shirt, but insisting to wear the helmet. He went to my moms today and when I picked him up I was so confused because he was wearing pajamas and I knew he was wearing clothes when I dropped him off. Turns out he put his clothes on over his pajamas, without me knowing, and then took the outer layer of clothes off when he got to my moms. Haha.
What's this outfit?
Surprisingly he actually has let me dress him a couple times this week and he's been pretty cute. He asked me to take a picture of him and his bucket. Haha. But I still think he might be spending too much time at Kelli's. Haha. The other day we were driving and Calum says, "Umm Kelli, I mean mom."
I mean I've heard of accidentally calling your friends mom"Mom" but I've never heard of calling your mom your friends mom's name. Haha. What a nut.
Finally got Miles' birth announcements sent out. I enlisted Kelli to help me address them and teach me fancy calligraphy all at once. We had a fun afternoon. Add calligraphy to my list of crafts and talents that I want to develop someday when my life slows down (pretty sure that'll never happen. Haha)
Some of my better ones.
Lastly here's a carseat cover I made for my friend. I was tempted to keep it for myself. Purty cute if I say so myself :)
There you have it, the last week and a half. Only took me forever to get around to writing this. I'm the worst. I'm also ridiculously sore from Crossfit. Every workout nearly kills me, I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. Haha.
